Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

By using Zaeli, you're agreeing to these terms. We've kept them plain and short. Read them once — then get back to your family.

Who provides Zaeli

Zaeli is operated from Australia. Contact us at hello@zaeli.ai.

What Zaeli is

Zaeli is an AI-powered app for managing family life: calendar, meals, shopping, tasks, kids' activities, budget, and more. Zaeli talks with you in natural language and takes actions on your behalf inside the app.

Subscription and pricing

Trials and beta access

We may offer free trials or beta access from time to time. Trial periods convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. Beta accounts may have different features and are provided as-is while we're building.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and you're not charged again.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. If Zaeli isn't working for you, please contact us before requesting a refund — we'll often be able to help or make it right.

Acceptable use

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

AI content — important

Zaeli uses AI — she can make mistakes.
Always double-check anything important. That includes calendar events, homework answers, meal ingredient safety, and financial planning suggestions. Zaeli is a helpful companion, not a replacement for your judgement, a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant, or a teacher.

You're responsible for verifying AI outputs before relying on them for important decisions.

Your content

You own the content you create in Zaeli (calendar events, notes, recipes, chat messages, uploaded photos). You grant us permission to store and process this content to deliver the service — nothing more. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Our content

The Zaeli app, brand, logo, design, and code are our property. Don't copy them.

Availability

We aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime. Zaeli depends on third-party services (Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, Apple's App Store and push infrastructure) — outages in those can affect us. We don't offer credits for downtime, but we do work hard to keep things running.

Changes to Zaeli

We're actively building Zaeli. Features may be added, changed, or removed. If we remove something you were relying on, we'll give reasonable notice.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we delete your personal data per our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Zaeli is provided "as is." Our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If Zaeli fails to meet those guarantees, you're entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll email you and post a notice in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
